North of the Ekati Mine Misery Pit, between the Misery haul road and Lac du Sauvage.

Site description

Located next to borehole NGO-RC15-167 which contains a thermistor string. The borehole is located on a relatively flat terrain with lots of hummocks and pools of standing water (suspected melting ice wedges). There are four sub-plots at the site. There are five instruments at the site: NGO-RC-167;NGO-RC-167_ST01;NGO-RC-167_ST02;NGO-RC-167_ST03;NGO-RC-167_ST04.
