Site description

This site is located next to the reverse-circulation drilled borehole NGO-RC15-163 which contains a thermistor string. There is an esker about 500 m to the East. The surrounding area is interpreted to be till. Relief is relatively flat other than the esker. The drainage at the site is poor and there was a lot of standing water when the instruments were installed in July. There are a few hummocks around. There are four sub-plots at the site. There are five instruments at the site: NGO-RC-163;NGO-RC-163_ST01;NGO-RC-163_ST02;NGO-RC-163_ST03;NGO-RC-163_ST04.
