East of Ekati Mine main camp and North of Paul Lake. Within 12km of main camp.

Site description

This site is centered on a cored borehole (NGO-DD-2014) which does not contain a thermistor chain. The site is on the side of a hill on one side of a small valley. There are lots of boulders and frost boils that could be seen nearby. The borehole itself was drilled on a frostboil material. The terrain is dry with lots of sandy materials underneath. There are four sub-plots at the site. There are four instruments at the site: NGO-DD-2014_ST01;NGO-DD-2014_ST02;NGO-DD-2014_ST03;NGO-DD-2014_ST04.
