Site location

North of the Ekati Mine Misery Pit, between the Misery haul road and Lac du Sauvage.

Site description

This site is located on the gentle north-facing slope of a broad till mound and is centered around a cored borehole (NGO-DD15-2007) containing a thermistor string. There are some short dwarf-birch shrubs. There are four sub-plots at this site. There are five instruments at the site: NGO-DD-2007;NGO-DD-2007_ST01;NGO-DD-2007_ST02;NGO-DD-2007_ST03;NGO-DD-2007_ST04.
