North of the Ekati Mine Misery Pit, between the Misery haul road and Lac du Sauvage.

This site is located on the east slope of a broad till mound which hosts several other sites. The site is centered around a borehole (NGO-DD15-2004) which contains a thermistor string. The slope is gentle with less hummocky features. Towards the North is a rolling flat plain terrain. In the east is a lake, hill and plain surface areas ending with a hilly bed rocky terrain (This is where air temperature loggers have been installed). To the south one can see the Ekati Misery pit haul road, and towards the west is the hill top. There are five instruments at the site: NGO-DD-2005;NGO-DD-2005_ST01;NGO-DD-2005_ST02;NGO-DD-2005_ST03;NGO-DD-2005_ST04.
