North of the Ekati Mine Misery Pit, between the Misery haul road and Lac du Sauvage.

Site description

Site located near the top of a broad till mound which hosts several other sites. Site is centered around a cored borehole (NGO-DD15-2004) which contains a thermistor string. There is short, patchy dwarf birch interspered with patterned ground. There are four sub-plots at the site. There are five instruments at the site: NGO-DD-2004;NGO-DD-2004_ST02;NGO-DD-2004_ST01;NGO-DD-2004_ST03;NGO-DD-2004_ST04.
