The area is located approximately 8 km NNW from Camp-2, slightly beyond the nesting goose colony boundary.
Site description
This area is characterized by a low-altitude plateau with some small rivers fed by melting snow. Mesic habitat is dominant on the plateau. There are a few lakes, ponds and wetlands scattered on the plateau.
