Site description
The site is located in a drained basin that formed after the catastrophic drainage of a thermokarst lake in 2019. The site is flat and near an old eroding shoreline. Old tundra polygons can still be seen. The soils are mostly bare, except some areas which colonized by shrubs (Salix sp.). This site is specifically where the vegetation survey was done.
