Site location
Graminoids site close to a retrogressive thaw slump
Site description
The site is located in an elevated open flat area ~ 200 m NE of the Old Crow River and ~ 100 m east of a retrogressive thaw slump. The sediment comprises glaciolacustrine deposits and the land cover is primarily graminoids with tussock in the open area while the surroundings are a mix of tall shrubs and spruces.
