Site location
The station is located on the delta perched on the shore of Lake A. The surface of the delta comprises a polygon network.
Site description
The river that flows into Lake A is not of glacial origin anymore.
Lake A has a depth of 120 m and discharge into the Arctic Ocean at Rambow Bay.
It is considered as meromictic because it is stratified and does not mix or very little near the surface. From 20 m depth, water is of marine origin.
