Site location
Lake located on the northern coastline of Ellesmere Island. Lake A and Lake B are located in the same valley.
Site description
Lake with a maximal depth of 50 m, a surface area of 1 km2 and a catchment area of 5 km2. Lake B outflows into Lake A. This meromictic lake has a mixed layer of about 6 m. Lake B had a perennial ice cover until recently. This lake is well sheltered by mountains on three sides.
