Organic layer thickness in the thawed layer

Thickness of the organic layer in the thawed layer. This layer was measured from the ground surface to the mineral layer below the organic layer. If the mineral layer was not reached, the depth of the organic layer is the depth of the thaw front and can be assumed to be thicker than the thawed layer (OL>TL).
