The third version of the CLPPP includes additional peatland permafrost complexes that were identified from high-resolution satellite imagery for the study area within 100 km of the Labrador Sea coastline. The third version of the CLPPP includes a column of data that describes the type of peatland permafrost landform within the complex as palsa, peat plateau, or mixed.
