This site is located alongside borehole NGO-RC15-164 which contains a thermistor chain. The site is south of a large east-west trending esker and is at the foot of a gentle south-facing slope. There are numerous high-centered polygons around the site the borders of which had standing water in July when the instruments were installed. Tops of polygons are hummocky. There are four sub-plots at the site. There are five instruments at the site: NGO-RC-164;NGO-RC-164_ST01;NGO-RC-164_ST02;NGO-RC-164_ST03;NGO-RC-164_ST04.
