The site is located at a cored borehole (NGO-DD15-1010) containing a thermistor string. The site is on wet organic terrain in small valley. There are water-filled cracks at the surrounding area which suggest ice-wedges. Many other sites are located in the valley. This site has four sub-plots. There are five instruments at the site: NGO-DD-1010;NGO-DD-1010_ST01;NGO-DD-1010_ST02;NGO-DD-1010_ST03;NGO-DD-1010_ST04.
