The site is located at a cored borehole (NGO-DD15-1009) containing a thermistor string. The site is on wet organic terrain in small valley. There are water-filled cracks at the surrounding area which suggest ice-wedges. This site has four sub-plots. Many other sites are located in the valley. There are five instruments at the site: NGO-DD-1009;NGO-DD-1009_ST01;NGO-DD-1009_ST02;NGO-DD-1009_ST03;NGO-DD-1009_ST04.
