Summer dissolved oxygen concentration in Arctic lakes

Lake and data characteristics extracted from the literature for the development of figures 1 and 4 in Klanten et al. 2023 (in revision). An asterisk (*) in the “Summer oxygen level” column indicates available DO concentrations during both ice-covered and ice-free seasons. "Summer oxygen level" categories are: low (under 30% saturation), moderate (between 30% and 70%), and high (above 70%). Missing data is indicated by NA. Notes have been added to explain specific features of the data or to express uncertainties about interpretation.
