Volumetric ice content

The ratio of the volume of ice in a sample to the volume of the whole sample. The volume of the whole sample was measured by water displacement, and the volume of the ice was obtained by drying the sample, then dividing the gravimetric water content (in grams) by the ice density (0.91 g/cm3).
