Ice shelf and ice tongue extents

This dataset was generated to examine the extent of the Ellesmere Island ice shelves and ice tongues over time. Data from 13 observation years were combined to examine ice shelves and ice tongues along the northern coast of Ellesmere Island. The dataset also contains polygons for other ice types and can be used to track environmental change in the Arctic.
