Vegetation cover

Soil surface vegetative cover (%) using the following classes: deciduous shrubs, evergreen shrubs, graminoids, forbs, mosses, lichens, rock and stones, and bare soil, Sphagnum. The vegetation cover was assessed using 1x1m quadrats and an abundance cover with the following classes: <1%, 0-5%, 5-25%, 25-50%, 50-75%, 75-100%. For sites Q1-Q5 and TA1-TA10, the quadrats were placed on tundra polygons and for sites Q6-Q8, the quadrats were in troughs between the polygons.
