Ice temperature
Description
Ice temperature was measured continuously at 8 depths in the ice patch IP1 (0, -50, -100, -150, -200, -250, -300, and -320 cm). The data are recorded at a 4-hour interval. The level "0 cm" represents the ice surface in July 2017 and the "320 cm" level represents the contact between the ice and bedrock. At the depths "-50, -100, -150, -200, -250, -300 and -320 cm" the ice temperature was measured by thermistors mounted at Geocryolab (UdeM) (YSI; accuracy ± 0.1 °C; resolution ±0.001°C) and recorded by an ACR datalogger (Systems Smart Reader Plus 8™, ACR Systems Inc.). At the "0cm" temperature was recorded by a HOBO TidbiT (accuracy ±0.21°C; resolution ±0.02°C )
