Irradiance data

Description

Incoming irradiance data are useful to get a sense of the amount of sunlight energy that DOM received during the experiment in Quebec city, and to compare it to the amount it would have received at the study site over the same time period. The experiment lasted from 30th July 2016 to 17th August 2016. Sunlight energy received in Quebec city during that time was measured by a weather station (wireless Vantage Pro2TM Plus, Davis Instrument Corporation) installed on the campus of Laval University (http://meteo-laval.gel.ulaval.ca/meteocam-proxy.php), at a distance of 5.4 km from our laboratory. The data are reported for every 30 minutes and result from a pyranometer integration between 300 and 1100 nm. Note that missing data during the first three days were estimated through a linear regression between the station irradiance and our Pendant loggers values. The electrical engineering and computer engineering department of Laval University kindly gave us the authorisation to publish these data.
